I went to visit Harley on May 6, 2009. I was able to see Kim work with her. WOW is all I can say!! She seems so grown up now! Very childesh in some respect, but not the little 6 week old she was when I bought her.
In 3 short weeks she can walk, trot, one rein stop, stop, back, and Kim loped her for the first time that night!!! She did AMAZING! Kim was quite tickled with her. She is going to start taking her out on trails here soon. And next time I go visit her, I'll be able to get on her! I can't wait!!!
I have big plans for this girl, and right now, we're heading in the right direction. Getting a nice solid foundation put on her...

And....it begins...
Well, on April 16th I dropped Harley off at the trainer. Can I just take a moment and say how much I LOVE this horse! She hadn't been hauled in about 2 years. And before that, she had only ever been one place besides home. She hauled like a champ!!! Unloaded her, and you'd never know this horse doesn't get out. She just walked quietly into her stall, and when we left, she was munching on hay.
I'm making myself wait a few weeks before going up there and checking on her! By that time Kim should be on her, and riding her! I can't wait!!!
My lil Harley girl is growing up!

Just around the corner...
Just a quick update...
In 3 1/2 weeks Harley heads to the trainer for 60 days. I can't tell you how excited I am!! I cannot WAIT to have her back in June. I've waited almost 4 years for this day to come. I hope she exceeds all my expectations. :)
More updates to come once she's at the trainer...

The beginning.
This is a completely new adventure for me, so please bear with me here. :)
In just 2 short months I will be sending my 4 year old BS APHA mare to the training. Here we will follow along with her progress as she is "morphed" into my future champion!
I bought Harley (SHF Tru Spicy Kiss) as a 6 week old filly. I still remember driving 2 hours to "just to go see her" (that's what I told my now husband..haha..he knew better, that meant buy her!). She was the cutest little thing on 4 legs I'd ever seen!!
Now, 4 years later, I'm going to FINALLY get the chance to bring out all this potential I'd seen in her that day so many years ago.
Keep checking back for updates on the new adventure!!
